The I/N Trophy
The I/N Trophy is awarded to the player winning the most masterpoints at the Intermediate/Newcomer events in a Long Island Regional. These are points won at the Single Session I/N Pairs games offered Wednesday through Saturday, at 10 AM and 3 PM. This does not include the nonLM/LM Pairs and the bracketed round robin Swiss games, though these are also good events for newcomers and intermediates.
The I/N games are designed to be enjoyable for beginning players. There is a ceiling of 200 masterpoints.
